ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – South Atlantic Conference Commissioner Patrick Britz announced the addition of two new staff members this week. Amelia Maher will join the Conference as the Director of External Operations and Administration, while Jessica Biggers comes to the SAC as the Coordinator of Strategic Communications.
"We are very excited to have Amelia and Jessica join our staff," said Britz. "They both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team that we feel will elevate and enhance the South Atlantic Conference, as well as allow us to better serve our membership."

At the SAC, Maher will be charged with maintaining and monitoring day-to-day business operations of the League office, in addition to serving as the office manager and assisting with compliance and championships. She will coordinate and process payments of officials, as well as administer the League's National Letters of Intent and medical hardship waivers. She will also serve as the director of the South Atlantic Conference tennis championship and will assist in the marketing and promotion efforts of the SAC.
Biggers joins the SAC staff after spending time at two member institutions. She also served as the secondary media contact for the College's remaining 17 varsity sports.
Prior to Coker, Biggers received her undergraduate degree in Christian Ministry from Anderson in 2016. While at Anderson, she was a member of the Sports Information amd Game and Event Staff from 2012-2017. She assisted in the on-campus and off-campus promotion, coordination, marketing and community outreach of Anderson athletic events, while also assisting in all sports information related duties for the Trojans 15 varsity sports.
Biggers will assist in the day-to-day communication and media relations for the SAC office, as well as assisting in all areas of graphic design. She will also assist in the production of SAC video features, including the "SAC Daily Dose", a tri-weekly video recap of the conference's athletic events.
Maher will begin her duties at the SAC office on July 10, while Biggers will start her tenure with the SAC on August 1.
