ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference men's and women's basketball games featuring Lincoln Memorial University and Queens University of Charlotte will be featured on ESPN3 as part of the NCAA Division II Showcase.
"I would like to thank the NCAA for selecting our doubleheader to be part of the NCAA Division II Showcase," said SAC Commissioner Patrick Britz. "This will be an amazing experience for our student-athletes and an opportunity for our conference to be represented on a national stage."
The men's and women's basketball SAC doubleheader will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24 at LMU's Tex Turner Arena. The women's game will tip-off at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4 p.m.
Both games will have postseason implications, but the men's match-up will feature the No. 1 ranked Railsplitters versus the No. 2 ranked Royals. In their first meeting of the season, the Railsplitters came away with the 73-72 win.
