NCAA MEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT BRACKET

Wingate, N.C.----The third-seeded Lander University Bearcats made all five penalty kicks Sunday afternoon, advancing past second-seeded Wingate University in the semifinals of the 2017 NCAA Southeast Regionals. Lander moves to 13-3-3 overall, advancing to the regional finals, while Wingate ends its season at 14-4-2 overall.

Lander's George Knight scored the equalizer in the 75th minute.

First Overtime

Lander recorded one shot in the first overtime, while Wingate was unable to record a shot.

Second Overtime

The second overtime was a mirror of the first overtime as neither team was able to record a shot on goal.

Penalty Kicks

Lander was a perfect fiver-for-five on penalty kicks. Wingate made the first four kicks but  Lander's Aleksander Holboe deflected the final PK to send the Bearcats to the regional finals.
