Lenoir-Rhyne, Wingate and Carson-Newman Ranked in Latest AFCA Poll
After the final week of the NCAA Division II football regular season, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, Wingate Bulldogs, and Carson-Newman Eagles are ranked in the latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll.
The Bears stayed at No. 6 after a 49-3 win over Catawba, while the Bulldogs moved up to No. 16 after a 64-34 win over Mars Hill and the Eagles entered the ranking for the first time this season at No. 25 after a 49-13 win over Tusculum.
All three teams have earned berths to the NCAA Divison II Football Playoffs. Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate will host games on Nov. 23, while Carson-Newman will travel to Bowie State.
