Eight SAC Players Named to D2Football All-America Teams

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) - Eight South Atlantic Conference football players were named to the 2019 D2Football.com All-American Teams it was announced last week.
Lenoir-Rhyne led the way with three selections, including two first team selection; defensive lineman Jaquan Artis and defensive back Kyle Dugger. Offensive lineman Jason Poe was a second team selection.
Also earning first team honors was Mars Hill wide receiver Craig Rucker and Carson-Newman defensive back Desmond Fairell.
Rounding out the selections from the SAC were honorable mention picks Phillip McDowell (OL) and Rondrow Peebles (LB) from Carson-Newman and Wingate's Andrew Strickland (OL).
