Three South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-America Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (June 2, 2026) – Three South Atlantic Conference women's tennis student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Women's Tennis Team, recognizing their outstanding achievements both on the court and in the classroom.
Representing the SAC on this year's NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Team were Sofia Antolini and Ami Miya of Catawba College and Runa Muderrisoglu of Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Antolini earned Second Team Academic All-America® honors after posting a 3.90 GPA while pursuing her master's degree in Sports Management. Miya was also named to the Second Team with a 3.92 GPA in Communication. The duo helped lead Catawba to another successful season while excelling academically.
Muderrisoglu garnered Second Team Academic All-America® recognition for Lenoir-Rhyne. A junior majoring in Computer Science, she carries a perfect 4.00 GPA and becomes one of only 18 student-athletes nationwide selected to the Division II Academic All-America® Women's Tennis Team.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must be key contributors to their teams while maintaining exceptional academic credentials.
The South Atlantic Conference's three selections tied for the most among any NCAA Division II conference represented on the Academic All-America® Women's Tennis Team this season.
