The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week, Feb. 8

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens' Garrett Chan was tabbed the Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Eric Dolan was named the Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played the opening week of the season, the League announced today.

Chan, a senior from Port Coquitlam, B.C., was in on eight scores to lead No. 20 Queens to a 12-6 win over Florida Southern on Feb. 7.  The attacker handed out six assists and chipped in a pair of scores to finish the contest with eight points.  Chan also collected one ground ball in the win.  The award is his first Offensive Player of the Week plaudit this season.

Dolan, a senior from Hopkinton, Mass., grabbed 10 saves in the Royals' win over Florida Southern.  He finished the contest with a 63 save percent in 57 minutes of action.  The award is his first Defensive Player of the Week nod this season.
