The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, Sept. 14

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman forward Nick Skoda has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Sept. 8 - Sept. 13, the League announced today.

Skoda, a senior from Knoxville, Tenn., posted a hat trick against Belmont Abbey in a 5-0 victory for the Eagles, scoring his first goal 1:39 into the match. On Saturday's bout against USC Aiken, Skoda scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw. Skoda's performance this week places him first as the conference's leader in goals. He also finished the week with eight points and a .500 shot percentage. The honor marks his first Player of the Week nod this season.
