The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Jan. 30

 

Pittman, a senior from Liberty, Kentucky led Lincoln Memorial to another undefeated week in a pair of victories against Carson-Newman on January 25^th and Lenoir-Rhyne on January 28^th. Against Carson-Newman, Pittman scored 23 points and posted 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Railsplitters to a 72-65 victory.  In the 77-57 win against Lenoir-Rhyne, she recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, and shot 50% from beyond the arc. She averaged 21.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks while shooting 82.4% from the foul line in the two-game span.  Pittman currently ranks 5^th in the league in points per game (15.7), 3^rd in rebounds per game (9.9) and is 5^th in 3-PT percentage (45.2). This award marks her third Player of the Week selection this season.
