The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Nov. 30

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate guard Alex Tomlinson has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 23 – 29, the League announced today.

Tomlinson, a junior from Raleigh, N.C., notched a career-high 17 points in the Bulldogs' SAC victory against Lenoir-Rhyne, surpassing her previous record which occurred almost one year ago in the same match-up. She made seven of her nine shots from inside three point range and was perfect from the three-point line as she connected all three of her shots. Tomlinson also added a steal, three assists, while also making six rebounds on the defensive end.  The award marks Tomlinson's first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
