The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week, Dec. 15

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens guard Rob Lewis has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 8-14, the League announced today.

Lewis, a junior from Houston, Texas, poured in 19 points to lead the Royals to an 81-64 win over Brevard on Dec. 13.  He connected on 50 percent from the floor to go along with a perfect 10-for-10 from the line.  He also dished out 10 assists and came away with eight rebounds and a steal.  The honor marks his first Player of the Week plaudit this season.

Also nominated for Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Chris Ross (Anderson), Jared Johnson (Carson-Newman), Thomas Anderson (Mars Hill) and Luquon Choice (Lincoln Memorial).
