The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, Mar. 2

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Caroline Holland has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 22-Mar. 1, the League announced today.

Holland, a junior from Spartanburg, S.C., posted a pair of wins at GRU Augusta last week.  She and teammate Layla Tanik opened the match up with a 9-7 win at No. 3 doubles.  Holland followed that effort with a win at the No. 2 singles flight, 7-5, 6-3.  The award is her first Player of the Week selection this season.
