South Atlantic Conference Pilot Flying J Basketball Championship Games to be Featured as Part of NCAA Division II Showcase
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference Pilot Flying J Men's and Women's Basketball Championship Games will be featured as part of the NCAA Division II Basketball Showcase. The March 8 championship games will be broadcast online through the NCAA Division II Showcase Hybrid Model and the SAC Live Digital Network.
These games can be seen on the SAC Live Digital Network (www.thesac.com/live), on the Division II, SAC and participating institutions' Facebook pages, on the DII Twitter page at @NCAADII and through the Periscope app at @NCAADII.
"We are very excited to have our SAC Pilot Flying J Men's and Women's Basketball Championship games showcased to a worldwide audience through the NCAA Division II Showcase," said South Atlantic Conference Commissioner Patrick Britz. "It is an honor to be selected and we greatly appreciate the NCAA's efforts in helping us promote our amazing conference. The past few seasons, our men's and women's tournament championship games have featured regionally and nationally ranked teams and there is a chance that will happen again this year, so we are looking forward to sharing two excellent basketball games."
The games will take place at Furman University's Timmons Arena in Greenville, S.C. on March 8. Tip-off for the women's game will be 1:05 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4:05 p.m.
