SAC Spectator Policies - Updated February 2022

Below are the spectator attendance policies for each of the South Atlantic Conference's 13 member institutions in regards to spectators at outdoor venue games for the 2022 winter sports season. Each institution has the ability to set their own spectator policies based on state and local guidelines.  

Anderson - Masks are encouraged inside all buildings on campus. Guest must maintain at least 6 feet of distance from anyone outside of their family group. Anderson Spectator Policy

Carson-Newman - Though not required for entry to our Athletic Facilities, facial coverings are encouraged for arena patrons. 

Catawba - Outdoor venues are open at full capacity. Masks are required if you cannot properly social distance. Indoor venues open at full capacity with masks required. Catawba Spectator Policy

Coker - Fans must wear face masks at all times while on campus, indoors and outdoors, as well as observing social distancing. Coker Spectator Policy

Lenoir-Rhyne -  Fans must be masked when indoors at any facility and can be unmasked when outdoors if fully vaccinated.Lenoir-Rhyne Spectator Policy

Limestone -  Events in Timken Center at full capacity. Limestone Spectator Policy

Lincoln Memorial - Spectators are strongly encouraged to wear masks and face coverings regardless of their vaccination status. Lincoln Memorial Spectator Policy

Mars Hill - Fans must be masked when indoors at any facility and can be unmasked when outdoors if fully vaccinated. Mars Hill Spectator Policy

Newberry - Fans must be masked when indoors at any facility and can be unmasked when outdoors if fully vaccinated. Indoor events will be at 50% capacity. Newberry Spectator Policy

Queens - No general admission. Only individuals whose names are on the player/guest pass list will be admitted to indoor events. No fan restrictions for outdoor events - Queens Fan Policy

Tusculum - Face coverings are required indoors for all individuals when physical distancing cannot be guaranteed, even those who are protected. For Volleyball – We will not be allowing visiting fans, we will allow a pass list for the visiting team allowing two family members per player.

UVA Wise - Fans must be masked when indoors at any facility and can be unmasked when outdoors if fully vaccinated. UVA Wise Spectator Policy

Wingate - Effective immediately, there will be no capacity restrictions at Wingate athletics events. Spectators will still be required to wear masks inside Cuddy Arena for Wingate basketball games and safely socially distance if possible.  Wingate Spectator Policy
