Emmanuel's Rios Earns Beach Volleyball Academic Excellence Award

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Emmanuel junior Alondra Rios was honored as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Academic Excellence Award winner for beach volleyball at the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Beach Volleyball Championship on Friday (Apr. 10).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) competing at the final site of the league's championship sports.

Rios, a junior from Lawrenceville, Ga., is a psychology major at Emmanuel and owns a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
