The South Atlantic Conference Announces Pilot Flying J Baseball Championship MVP and All-Tournament Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Hunter Dula was tabbed the 2019 SAC Pilot Flying J Baseball Championship MVP, the Conference announced today.  The top four teams in the SAC Championship head coaches also selected a 15-member All-Tournament Team 

Dula, a junior from Troutman, N.C., had an outstanding tournament on the mound and at the plate for the Bulldogs. He picked up the win for Wingate in their first game of the tournament against Newberry, going seven innings allowing just two runs on five hits with 10 strikeouts. He then played first base for the next four games where he belted two home runs, drove in five RBIs and scored four runs.

Wingate led the way with seven players on the All-Tournament Team, followed by Newberry with four players on the squad.  Tusculum and Carson-Newman rounded out the All-Tournament team with two players each.
