Wolves Bounce Back With 11-8 Win Over Carson-Newman

Kodak, Tenn.----Wingate University SAC Freshman of the Year Seaver King had three hits including the go-ahead RBI single to cap a four-run sixth inning Saturday afternoon, while classmate Cal Riehl tossed 3 2/3 shutout innings out of the bullpen to lead the top-seeded and top-ranked Bulldogs to a 9-8 victory over third-seeded Queens University on day three of the SAC Tournament. Wingate improves to 44-6 overall and 2-0 in the SAC Tourney, while the Royals fall to 29-22 on the year and 1-1 in tournament play. Yniesta Lifts Bears to 3-2 Comeback Win Over Catawba
Kodak, Tenn. - Lenoir-Rhyne's Drew Yniesta belted a one-single to left-center field in the bottom of the ninth to complete a 3-2 win over Catawba on Saturday (Apr. 30) evening. The Bears trailed the Indians 2-0 after seven and a half innings, but the Bears battled back and scored three unanswered runs to defeat Catawba.
