Lenoir-Rhyne Duo, Wingate Kicker Earn SAC Football Weekly Awards
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Three student-athletes that helped lead their teams to key SAC victories on Saturday have been named the conference's football Players of the Week.
Lenoir-Rhyne had a pair of winners in Offensive Player of the Week Major Herron and Defensive Player of the Week B.J. Woodley, while Wingate kicker Paul Grammaticopoulos took home the Special Teams distinction.

Herron finished with a game-high 129 yards rushing and two
touchdowns, while also passing for 147 yards and two scores in
leading Lenoir-Rhyne to a key 51-21 victory over No. 21 Mars
Hill.
Herron led the Bears' attack that produced a season-high 589 yards of total offense, including 429 on the ground.
Woodley finished with four tackles, including 3.5 for loss and two sacks in Lenoir-Rhyne's win. Woodley anchored an L-R defense that held MHC to just 251 yards of offense and limited the Lions' Jonas Randolph -- the nation's leading rusher -- to a season-low 48 yards.
Paul Grammaticopoulos had the biggest day of his career in the Bulldogs' 51-41 victory over Catawba. The former soccer standout connected on all three field-goal attempts -- including one from 38 yards -- and averaged 62.4 yards on 10 kickoffs.
On the season, Grammaticopoulos has missed just a single field-goal try.
