Two South Atlantic Conference Football Teams Ranked in Latest NCAA Super Region 2 Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted two teams in the NCAA Super Region 2 Regional Football Rankings.  Lenoir-Rhyne remained strong at No. 3, while Wingate checked in at No. 9 in this week's ranking.

The Bears are currently ranked No. 21 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II National Coaches' Poll with a record of 8-1 over, including a perfect 5-0 in conference play.

The Bulldogs are 6-3 overall and are 3-2 in the SAC.

Lenoir-Rhyne has won eight straight games, while Wingate is riding a four game winning streak.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Football Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
