Lenoir-Rhyne's Clifton Named SAC Football Elite 20 Award Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Lenoir-Rhyne football player Ronnie Clifton was named the South Atlantic Conference Elite 20 Award winner for football on Saturday (Nov. 10).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.

Clifton, a junior offensive lineman from Front Royal, Va.,  sports a 3.878 grade point average while majoring in finance and business management. 

He has played in all 10 games for the Bears this season and helped guide them to a perfect 7-0 record in SAC play.
