Wingate's Rawlings Named Division II Associated Press First Team All-American

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The 2018 Division II Associated Press All-American Football teams were announced on Thursday (Dec. 13).

Wingate's Cardell Rawlings was named to the first team defense.

Rawlings, the D2CCA Super Region 2 and SAC Defensive Player of the Year, finished the year ranked second in the nation in sacks with 17 and seventh in tackles for loss with 22.

This is Rawlings' second First Team All-America selection, as he was D2CCA First Team pick as well.
