Three SAC Football Teams Ranked in Week Two NCAA Super Region Two Ranking

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted three teams in the NCAA Super Region 2 Regional Football Rankings.  Lenoir-Rhyne moved up to No. 1, with Wingate checking in at No. 4 and Carson-Newman earning the No. 6 spot.

The Bears are currently ranked No. 7 the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II National Coaches' Poll with a record of 9-0 overall, including a perfect 7-0 in conference play.

The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 18 in the AFCA Division II National Coaches' Poll at 810 overall and are 5-1 in the SAC.

The Eagles are 6-2 overall and have a 4-2 record in the SAC.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Football Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
