Four SAC Football Players Earn CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors
AUSTIN, Texas | The 2019 Academic All-America® Division II football team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) was announced on Tuesday (Dec. 10).
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Division II Academic All-America® teams program.
Four SAC student-athletes were named to the Academic All-America® teams, including two-time honoree and first team selection, Ronnie Clifton of Lenoir-Rhyne. Joining Cliffton were second team selections, Antonio Wimbush of Carson-Newman, Andrew Strickland of Wingate and Clayton Horn of Lenoir-Rhyne.
