Lenoir-Rhyne and Limestone Punch Tickets to NCAA Division II Football Playoffs

ROCK HILL, S.C.  (theSAC.com) – The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears and the Limestone Saints will represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Football Championship, the NCAA announced today.

The Bears earned the No. 4 seed and they will host Shepherd, while the Saints will head to the No. 3 seed Valdosta State. Both games will be played on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Lenoir-Rhyne won the SAC Football Championship and finished the regular season with a record of 10-1, while Limestone closed out the season with a record of 8-3 overall, winning their last four straight games.

The NCAA Division II Championship game will be played on December 16, at 1 p.m. Eastern time at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
