Newberry's Norris Earns Football Elite 23 Award

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Newberry's Jonah Norris was honored as the 2025 SAC Football Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 award winner on Saturday (November 8).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 23 team championship sports.

Norris, a redshirt sophomore from Lexington, S.C., holds a 3.97 GPA with a major in PE Teaching Certification. Norris, a running back, has played in nine games for the Wolves and has 21 carries for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns this season.
