ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference was once again represented in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday, October 7, with Newberry College and Lander University both ranked among the nation's top 10.
Newberry (8-0) remains at No. 3 for the second consecutive week after continuing its unbeaten start to the 2025 season. The Wolves have been dominant on both sides of the ball, holding their ground among the nation's elite programs behind No. 1 Shippensburg and No. 2 Kutztown.
Lander (6-2) also held its position at No. 7, marking another strong showing for the Bearcats in the national rankings.
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll is voted on by designated NFHCA member coaches from each conference and does not influence selections to the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship. Teams must maintain a record of .500 or better to be eligible for ranking.
