LMU’s Bailey, Queens’ Squire Named SAC Basketball Players of the Week
Lincoln Memorial forward Vincent Bailey and Queens guard Nikia Squire have been selected as the new year’s first SAC Basketball Players of the Week after leading their teams to conference victories on Saturday.

Bailey posted his fourth double-double of the season on Saturday, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds in LMU's 84-60 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne. The senior has now scored 20 or more points in seven of the Railsplitters' 10 games this year.
Bailey shot 8-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 from the foul line against Lenoir-Rhyne, while also adding four assists. He is currently tied for third in the SAC in scoring at 20.7 points per game and ranks second in rebounding at 9.5 per game.
SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week | Nikia Squire, Queens
Squire helped Queens improve to .500 in SAC play on Saturday by scoring a season-high 28 points in the Royals' 70-57 win against Mars Hill. 22 of the sophomore's points came in the second half.
Squire also recorded a season-best six steals along with three rebounds and three assists in the game. She finished 11-of-16 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the foul line, and is Queens' second-leading scorer this season, averaging 12.8 points per game.
