Catawba's Robinson Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Catawba guard Kris Robinson has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week three of the 2023-24 season, the Conference announced today.

Robinson, a junior from Lincolnton, N.C., led the Catawba Indians to a 2-1 record last week, with wins over Belmont Abbey (90-83) and No. 25 Florida Southern (84-73). For the week Robinson averaged 21.7 points with 2.7 rebounds, 2 assists, and two steals. He shot 56 percent from the field (18-for-32) and was 15-for-24 (62.5 percent from three-point range. He scored a career-high 27 points against Belmont Abbey and then added 19 points against Florida Southern and another 19 points against Saint Leo.
