Lincoln Memorial's Brown Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial forward Martez Brown has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week nine of the 2023-24 season, the Conference announced today.

Brown, a senior from Bessemer, Ala., set a new SAC record for rebounds in a single game with 28 in the Railsplitters 95-67 win over Catawba last week. In addition to his record-setting rebound performance, Brown scored 16 points in the game with two assists, a steal, and three blocks against the Catawba Indians. In his other game of the week, Brown scored 13 points with 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block in LMU's 94-73 win over UVA Wise. For the week, he averaged 14.5 points with 20.5 rebounds, two assists, 1.5 steals, and two blocks.
