Catawba Takes Down UNCP 98-94 in Overtime Thriller

Dahlonega, Ga. - Catawba's Kris Robinson knocked down a three-pointer with 18 seconds left in regulation to send the Catawba Indians and UNC Pembroke Braves to overtime in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional. Both teams exchanged baskets to start OT, until UNCP pulled away with a 93-89 lead with just under three minutes left. Led by Jaevon Jones, Catawba put up a 9-1 run over the final three minutes of action to secure the 98-94 victory. Jones finished the game with a team-high 25 points, while Kaleb Wallace had 20 points, and Robinson finished with 18 points for the Catawba Indians.

#14 North Georgia holds off Wingate 89-80 in NCAA Tourney opener

Dahlonega, Ga.----The top-seeded and 14th-ranked University of North Georgia Nighthawks used a big run late in the first half Saturday evening en route to an 89-80 victory over eighth-seeded Wingate University in the quarterfinals of the 2024 NCAA Southeast Regional men's basketball tournament. North Georgia improves to 26-6 overall, while the Bulldogs end their season at 22-9.

Lincoln Memorial falls to Lander to wrap up season

Dahlonega, GA - The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team took to North Georgia University for its Southeast Regional match up of the NCAA DII Men's Basketball Tournament, taking on the Lander Bearcats in the first game for the second consecutive season.
