Carson-Newman's Browder Named SAC WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman guard Jack Browder has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week one of the 2024-25 season, the Conference announced today.

 

Browder, a junior from Kingsport, Tenn., led the Eagles in scoring in their first three games and he recorded his 12th and 13th career double-doubles. Over the four games, Browder averaged 20.5 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 59.5 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from long range. He notched a career-high 13 rebounds against Lees-McRae and had three games with 20 points or more.
