Carson-Newman's Browder Named SAC WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman guard Jack Browder has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week four of the 2024-25 season, the Conference announced today.

Browder, a junior from Kingsport, Tenn., helped Carson-Newman to wins over Emory & Henry and Anderson this past week. Browder dropped a career-high 33 points in the win over Anderson and went 9-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from 3-point range in the second half as the Eagles won 95-92. For the game, he went 12-of-19 and added eight boards and a pair of steals. For the week, he averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists while shooting 66.7 percent from the field and from long range and connecting on all his free throw attempts. This is the second week Browder has won Player of the Week.
