Three Nationally Ranked in Men's Basketball

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- The South Atlantic Conference boasts three teams nationally ranked in men's basketball. Lincoln Memorial, Carson-Newman and Coker are all in the top 25 in either or both of the coaches and media polls. 

Lincoln Memorial slots in at No. 16 in the NABC Coaches' Poll and are No. 24 in the D2CSC Media Poll. The Railsplitters are 4-1 on the young season with a 2-0 mark in South Atlantic Conference play where they own wins over Mars Hill and Catawba.

Carson-Newman finds themselves at No. 19 in the D2CSC poll and receiving votes in the NABC poll. The Eagles are 8-2 on the season and are 4-1 in conference play with the lone blemish coming to Catawba. 

Coker enters the national poll for the first time this season and are a perfect 5-0 overall and 3-0 in league action. Coker is No. 24 in the NABC poll.
