UVA Wise's Dean Named SAC WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – UVA Wise guard Bradley Dean has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week 15 of the 2024-25 season, the Conference announced today.

Dean, a senior from Gate City, Va., led UVA Wise to wins over No. 6 Lincoln Memorial and Wingate last week. In the upset win over Lincoln Memorial, Dean poured in 16 points to go with seven boards and four assists as Wise topped LMU 78-67, giving the program its first home win over a top 8 team in the nation in their NCAA Era. Dean would follow that up with 29 points, seven assists and four rebounds in a win over Wingate on Saturday. The wins kept UVA Wise tied for fourth in the league standings, one game behind third-place Carson-Newman.
