Six SAC Men’s Basketball Programs Placed in NCAA Southeast Region Top 10
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) — Six South Atlantic Conference men's basketball programs are featured in the latest NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings released this week, highlighting the depth and strength of SAC competition as postseason play approaches.
The NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings list the top 10 teams in the region based on overall and in-region performance. These rankings are used by the selection committee as a guideline in determining the NCAA Tournament field. The top eight teams in the region earn tournament berths, including automatic qualifiers from the SAC, Conference Carolinas and Peach Belt Conference.
