Browder Earns Second Straight SAC Men's Basketball Elite 23 Award
ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – Carson-Newman's Jack Browder was honored as the 2025-26 SAC Men's Basketball Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 award winner on Thursday (March 5).
This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 23 team championship sports.
Browder holds a 4.00 GPA across 121 credit hours while studying Business Administration. This is the second straight Men's Basketball Elite 23 award for Browder who was also presented with the D2CCA Regional Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second straight year. Browder, also the league's Player of the Year, led the conference in scoring by a full six points and is one of the most decorated Carson-Newman Eagles of all time. He ranks in the top five in scoring in the SAC and Carson-Newman history.
