Queens Extends Lead to 16 Strokes After Day Two of the 2022 SAC Men's Golf Championship

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Queens Royals fired a 14-under-par 275 on day two of the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club in Chuckey, Tenn. on Monday (April 11). The Royals sit at 25-under-par, 551, for the two days and hold a commanding 16-shot lead over Lincoln Memorial (-9, 567).
Newberry Wolves (-5, 572) sits in third after two days, followed by Limestone and Lenoir-Rhyne in a tie for fourth at four-under-par, 572. Carson-Newman is in sixth with an even-par 572, followed by Tusculum (+4, 580) in seventh, and Coker (+5, 581) in eighth. Anderson (+17, 593) is in ninth, with Wingate (+20, 596) in tenth, and Catawba (+23, 599) in eleventh. Rounding out the field are UVA Wise (+34, 610) in 12th and Mars Hill (+73, 649) in 13th.
Individually, Queens' Ollie Smith and Drake Wilcox are tied for the lead at 11-under-par, 133. Sitting just four shots back at seven-under-par, 137, are Limestone's Pontus Samuelson, Lincoln Memorial's Luke Harries, and Tusculum's Dominic Barron Holden.
