Dickins Earns Medalist; Wingate, LMU, Catawba and Anderson Advance to Medal Match Play
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial's Harry Dickins captured medalist honors to highlight the conclusion of stroke play at the 2026 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship on Monday at The Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, South Carolina.
Dickins fired a three-round total of 206 (-10), carding rounds of 68, 70 and 68 to finish one shot clear of Wingate's Lewis Beeden, who placed second at 207 (-9).
Wingate claimed the team title for stroke play, finishing at 856 (-8) after posting the low round of the day with a 282 (-6). Lincoln Memorial finished second at 865 (+1), followed by Catawba in third at 884 (+20) and Anderson in fourth at 897 (+33).
Those four teams—Wingate, Lincoln Memorial, Catawba and Anderson—advance to Tuesday's medal match play semifinals. The Bulldogs will face Anderson, while Lincoln Memorial will take on Catawba for a spot in the championship match.
Wingate placed three golfers inside the top 10, led by Beeden's runner-up finish. Cole Rouse finished third at even-par 216, while Mattia D'Errico and Brandon Skidmore tied for seventh at 220 (+4).
Lincoln Memorial also had a strong showing behind Dickins, as Ryan Gavin tied for fourth at 217 (+1), while Edward Mason tied for 12th at 222 (+6).
Catawba was paced by Ilia Antoniadis, who finished sixth at 219 (+3), while Paul Esnault tied for seventh at 220 (+4). Anderson's Caden Olsommer tied for fourth at 217 (+1) to lead the Trojans.
The SAC Men's Golf Championship continues Tuesday with medal match play, as the final four teams battle for the conference title.
