Catawba, McDougall Make Big Jumps at Day Two of Men's Golf Regional
VALDOSTA, GA. -- Day two of the NCAA South/Southeast Regional wrapped up as teams and players are through 36 holes of golf with one round left. Wingate and Lincoln Memorial sit in eighth and ninth respectively with Catawba slotting in at 13th.
Catawba had the best team round of the day for the SAC, shooting an even par to move up two spots. Wingate fell one spot with a +2 while LMU dropped four spots with a +5 on the day.
Wingate's Lewis Beeden jumped up two spots to seventh place with a -3 on the day to match his first round and give him a -6 through 36 holes.
Lenoir-Rhyne's Matthew McDougall was the biggest mover in the entire field, jumping up 27 spots after shooting a -5 to put himself in an 11th place tie.
LMU's Harry Dickins fired a -1 to move into a 14th place tie.
Tee times are set for 10 a.m. in the finale.
