The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the second weekend of the 2022 season. Mars Hill's ZAC Carrigan garnered the offensive honor while Limestone's William Baxter collected the defensive honor.

A senior attacker from Nova Scotia, Canada, Carrigan, helped the Lions to a win over non-conference opponents Lees-McRae and Shorter this past weekend. Overall, he tallied 21 points on 15 goals, while also adding five ground balls and six assists. This is Carrigan's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A senior goalie, Baxter, was instrumental in securing the Saints huge 17-7 win over Saint Leo this past weekend. Overall, the Manchester, England, native tallied 16 saves in his 55 minutes between posts with a 69.6 save percentage. This is Baxter's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
