The South Atlantic Conference Announces Men's Soccer Player of the Week, Sept. 8

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens forward Corey Brown has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Aug. 31 - Sept. 6, the League announced today.

Brown, a junior from Toronto, Ontario, kicked off the season with two goals and an assist against No. 10 Limestone in the season opener, to give Queens the lead before the Saints rallied to garner the win. On Sept. 5, Brown tallied an assist on both goals in the Royals 2-1 win over Southern Wesleyan.  Brown finished the week with a .625 shot percentage and seven points on two goals and three assists, helping the Royals to a 1-1 start.  The honor marks his first Player of the Week nod this season.
