The South Atlantic Conference Announces Seeds for the 2015 SAC Men's Soccer Championship
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman and Wingate finished the 2015 South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer season as Co-Champions with identical 9-2 Conference records and 27 points. The Eagles won the regular season meeting to earn the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Championship, it was determined today as the Conference season concluded this afternoon.
At No. 3 in the seeds was Lincoln Memorial with a 7-3-1 record and 22 points. Queens and Anderson finished the season with identical 7-4 records and 21 points. The Royals defeated Anderson during the regular season to break the tie and earn the No. 4 seed. Tusculum's 6-4-1 record and 19 points was good for the No. 6 seed and at No. 7 was Lenoir-Rhyne who finished the SAC season at 5-5-1 and 16 points. Brevard rounded out the seeds at No. 8 with a 4-5-2 record and 14 points.
The 2015 South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Championship quarterfinals will be played at campus sites on Tuesday, Nov. 3 before moving to Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C. for the semifinals and finals on Nov. 6 and 8. The Conference Championship schedule is as follows:
