The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Men's Soccer Players of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during the second week of the spring season. Tusculum forward Damien Baltide was named the offensive player of the week, while Carson-Newman goalkeeper Bram Kaarsgaren was named defensive player of the week.
Baltide, a sophomore from Fort-de-France, Martinique, led the Pioneers to a 3-1 win over King last week. He assisted on two of Tusculum's three goals, earning two points in the match.
Kaarsgaren, a junior from Den Bosch, Netherlands, led the Eagles to a 0-0 draw with Limestone. He made three saves in the shutout.
