The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Feb. 1

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Newberry's Jordan Monosky has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played the opening week of the season, the League announced today.

 

Monosky, a sophomore from Clearwater, Fla., won both his singles and doubles matches in the Wolves' 7-2 win over Southern Wesleyan to open the season.  At No. 2 doubles, he teamed with Jacob Svantesson to pick up an 8-4 win.  He followed with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.  The award is his first Player of the Week selection this season.
