The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Feb. 29

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Tusculum's Jonas Winkleman has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 22-28, the League announced today.

Winkleman, a senior from Boblingen, Germany, went 3-0 in singles and doubles to lead the Pioneers to three wins last week.  Playing at No. 3 singles, he posted three straight-set wins for the Pioneers and teamed with Tim Stierle at No. 1 doubles to earn three wins.  The Pioneers are unbeaten on the season at 7-0 during the 2016 campaign.  The honor is his first Player of the Week selection this season.
