Queens' Bottino Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens' Edoardo Bottino has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week two of the 2020 season, the Conference announced today.

Bottino, a freshman from Genoa, Italy, led the No. 23 Royals to a 5-2 upset victory over No. 18 North Georgia last week. He went undefeated in the match winning 6-1 at No. 2 doubles with partner Agustin Aran Martin, while also picking up a decisive 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.

This is Bottino's first Player of the Week selection this season.
