Queens' Bompieri Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens' Paolo Bompieri has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week three of the 2020 season, the Conference announced today.

Bompieri, a junior from Verona, Italy, led the No. 23 Royals to a 7-0 win over regionally-ranked No. 7 Georgia College. He picked up a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles and won his singles match at No. 3 by scores of 6-0 and 6-2.

This is Bompieri's first Player of the Week selection this season.
