The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

 ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens' Tom Bains has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for races Sept. 25 – Oct. 1, the League announced today.

Bains, a grad student from Sheffield, United Kingdom, took third place on the 8k course at the Royals Cross Country Challenge with a time of 24:09.85. As a team, Queens took a first-place finish in the team competition. The award is his second Player of the Week honor this season.
