Wingate's Mrochen Named South Atlantic Conference Astroturf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com)– The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the third week of the 2021 season. Wingate's Bastian Mrochen was named the runner of the week.

 

Mrochen, a sophomore from Liebenau, Germany led Wingate for the second week in a row, helping the Bulldogs take second place in the 26-team Converse Kickoff on Saturday at Milliken Research Park. Mrochen finished 10th with a 8K time of 26:02.0 out of 272 runners. This is Mrochen's second Runner of the Week honor this season.
