Catawba's Ramirez Named South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the first week of the season. Catawba's Erick Ramirez was named the runner of the week.

Ramirez, a junior from Dobson, N.C., took home first place honors at the Fleet Feet Invitational hosted by Catawba over the weekend, posting a winning time of 25:34.5. In addition to winning the event, Ramirez helped lead the Catawba Indians to a second place finish as a team.
